Safeguarding children and protecting them from harm is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and families has a role to play. At our school we take our duty to safeguard the children in our care very seriously. Our policy to promote the welfare and safeguarding of all children in our care covers the following:
• protecting children from maltreatment;
• preventing impairment of children’s health or development;
• ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and
• taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.
If you are worried about a child’s welfare – tell someone – we are here to listen and help.
If you have any concerns about our policies and practice, please share them with us.
