Activity one: Hopscotch
Draw out square boxes in a line with chalk or on paper and put on the floor. Activity two: I went to the shops
Take turns saying I went to the shops and adding an item on that you bought e.g. Mummy says I went to the shops and bought some chocolate, Daddy then says I went to the shops and bought some chocolate and an apple, child says I went to the shops and bought some chocolate, an apple and a football. Continue adding items until someone forgets what they said.
Go on a listening walk. Either in the house or outside go on a special listening walk. Talk to your child about what they can hear. Can they hear any loud sounds? Quiet sounds? Can they hear the leaves rustling in the trees? Cars on the road? The washing machine etc.
