School CLOSED Tuesday 5th January to formulate plans for vulnerable children and key workers

As I am sure you are already aware the Prime Minister announced tonight that all schools across England will be closed from tomorrow until at least February half term.

Schools will only be open for vulnerable children and the children of keyworkers.

Due to the very short notice of this announcement it will not be possible to organise provision for vulnerable or keyworker children for tomorrow.

Therefore school will be closed to all pupils tomorrow Tuesday 5th January and open for vulnerable or keyworker children from Wednesday 6th January.

Online learning will be available for all pupils from tomorrow on Tapestry for Early Years and on Seesaw for Key Stage 1.

Every parent has been sent a key worker email which needs to be returned by tomorrow morning at 8am so provision can be organised in plenty of time for Wednesday.

We are aware that school closure and the very short notice of tonight's announcement will cause disruption and upset for many families but all school staff would like to thank you for your continued support during the pandemic.

This is a tricky time for so many people, please stay safe and we will continue to be in contact with all the children through their teacher.

Best wishes

Mrs Naffati
