Once again, we have to make alternative arrangements due to the extreme heat and the forecast for later this week. We will be actioning the following: –

Wednesday 8th July – Y1 Rock It performance cancelled – it is already unbearably hot in the hall with just the children. This would be dangerous for a whole year group of adults too.

Thursday 9th July – Y2 Rock It performance cancelled – it is already unbearably hot in the hall with just the children. This would be dangerous for a whole year group of adults too.

Thursday 9th July – school will close at 13:15 – please collect Reception children from the School Office. Please collect Year 1 and Year 2 children from the hall.

Thursday 9th July – Nursery 30 hours – Please collect from Nursery at 12:30pm. Nursery will be closed to ALL 30 hours children and PM children.

We sincerely apologise for the disruption this will cause for families and those who work – but our school building just gets to an unbearable temperature throughout the day and then over the week, which just does not cool. As our children are young they find it hard to regulate their own temperatures, and we always put the children first!
