Walsall Council have launched their Summer Ready to Learn Programme for 2026!

To support children starting a setting or school in September, 'Ready to Learn' is designed to support children’s development while helping parents feel confident as their child begins their learning journey.

Created especially for families in Walsall with children aged 2–5 years, this FREE summer programme is packed with fun, engaging activities to help children build confidence and prepare for school or childcare.

What families can expect:

• Collect their Summer Passport
• Take part in a wide range of exciting activities
• Receive a FREE Ready to Learn pack (including a teddy, bag, activity cards, bubbles, crayons, toothbrush and more!)
• Access extra rewards, including the chance to win a balance bike, scooter, and a FREE swim voucher
