Bears have been practising computing skills by creating a poster on Word by inserting WordArt, text boxes and images. We have also been playing keyboard games to learn where the keys are on a keyboard and help us to improve our typing speed.
Bears have loved being active in our workshop and have shown how much they have learnt about healthy lifestyles and having a balanced diet.
Over the past few weeks Year 2 have been learning about the different things that humans need to do to stay fit and healthy. This week they have been thinking about how hygiene is important. They have made some posters to teach other people about how to keep clean too.
Bears had a great morning visiting the Hive. We got to choose and share books together and talked about how a library works. We hope to see lots of Bears signing up to the Hive soon!

Bears have been practising counting in 2s, 5s and 10s using different apparatus and chants!
Bears were practising using noun phrases with a game of Peter Pan 'Guess Who'. They came up with some lovely descriptions and will be continuing this with a character description of the Troll.
We’ve been having fun and getting messy with paint! We practised making tints and then added texture using sponges, cotton buds and our fingers!
Bears have been brave pirates and have found some treasure to bring back to class. They can’t wait to find out more about pirates during the topic.
